How AIMA teaches singing

AIMA’s vocal teaching draws on Dr T V Gopalakrishnan’s research in voice culture and on the TVG Training Methodology, which joins the gurukulam way of learning closely from a guru with an understanding of how the voice works.

Students learn to sing with healthy technique, correct pitch and breath control, then develop expression in the style they choose. If you have strain or faulty technique, voice training and voice correction can help.

“If you can speak, you can sing.”

Padma Bhushan Dr T V Gopalakrishnan, Founder-Chairman
